In Punjab's climate, that starts with reducing solar heat gain before adding cooling capacity to compensate for it. Deep verandahs, oriented glazing, and screening devices like brise-soleil are structural decisions made at the massing stage — not a tinted-glass fix applied to a plan that ignored orientation.

Why does building orientation matter more than glazing specification?
Glazing can reduce heat gain after the fact, but orientation and shading decided at the massing stage reduce the problem before it exists — and do so without the ongoing energy cost of compensating with cooling capacity. We resolve orientation and shading first, then specify glazing for what's left to manage.
Do you design both the building shell and the interiors?
Yes. Base-build architecture and tenant-facing interior design are handled as one scope so the building's structural grid, services, and finish palette are coordinated from the start rather than reconciled later.
